Family tree maker

Build your family tree right here in the browser. Kinidhi shows the correct kinship term in your mother tongue for every relative — pick from nine Indian languages up top — and lets you download the finished tree as a beautiful image. Nothing you type leaves your device.

How to make your family tree

  1. Start with yourself. Type your name — you're the root of the tree.
  2. Tap anyone to add their relatives. Father, mother, husband, wife, son or daughter — the tree lays itself out, generation by generation, with couples side by side and children beneath them.
  3. See the kinship terms. Every person is labelled with how they're related to you — in your mother tongue (Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, Malayalam, Hindi) or English.
  4. Download your tree. One tap exports a framed, print-ready image with your family name and today's date.

Why Kinidhi's tree maker is different

Indian kinship, built in

Most family tree tools stop at "uncle" and "cousin". Kinidhi's kinship engine knows the difference between మామయ్య and పెదనాన్న in Telugu, or मामा and चाचा in Hindi — computed from the actual relationships in your tree, in whichever language you choose.

Private by default

The maker runs entirely in your browser. Your family's names are never uploaded, stored, or shared — close the tab and they're still only on your device.

A beautiful, shareable image

The exported tree is designed to be shared — a warm heirloom style with your family name, the date, and clean connecting lines. Perfect for the family WhatsApp group.

More than a chart

The full Kinidhi app preserves what the chart can't: your elders' voices, their stories turned into a written family biography, birthdays and festivals, and a daily feed that keeps the whole family close.

Kinidhi — keep your family close.
